BFHL recently completed the installation of a D-Spect Cardiac scanner system in the Nuclear Medicine Department at Stanford Medical Center. The layout responded to the sensitive nature of the equipment, keeping the chair a safe distance from other “hot” patients waiting for treatment while also avoiding magnetic interference from a nearby MRI and an adjacent Gamma Camera. BFHL used the OSHPD SB1838 process to achieve a permit in less than three weeks.
